At RENDiet, we want to help you get the most out of your new way of eating. That’s why we offer the ultimate motivational tool to help you stick to your renal diet: a refund of your subscription fee.

When you use the RENDiet platform for 12 weeks you will see your labs greatly improve, and to reward you, we will refund $45– which is exactly how much a quarterly subscription costs!

How does the refund reward work?

The RENDiet refund reward is an incentive to help you try your hardest during your first three months on the platform. We know that users who earned a refund achieved remarkable improvements on their nutritional lab panels more so than users who didn’t receive a refund.

And just like everything else on our platform, the refund incentive criteria is rooted in science; it’s centered around key behaviors we know lead to adherence success.

So to encourage you to get the most out of the platform, these are some of the things you need to do to be eligible for a refund*:

Record your nutrition labs on RENDiet every month
Use RENDiet everyday to analyze the foods you want to buy and eat to see if they comply with your prescribed renal diet
Take a picture of your receipt after each grocery trip

Eligibility criteria

To be eligible for a refund you must meet all of the following criteria:

Purchase an eligible membership plan;
Use an eligible payment method (credit card or PayPal);
Setup and start using RENDiet within 7 days;
Record your current nutrition lab panel on RENDiet, add new lab records at least once a month for 3 consecutive months. You must enter items within each month for 3 consecutive months - you cannot pre-fill or backdate entries;
Upload a photo of your shopping receipt to the RENDiet platform after each shopping trip at least 4 times a month for 3 consecutive months.
Complete your food tracker at least 3 days a week for 4 consecutive weeks. You must enter food items in the morning, midday and evening sections of your food tracker for a day to be considered complete. You must enter items within each week of the program for 12 consecutive weeks - receipt date must fall within the date range of the week it is added.
Achieve a net improvement in your lab results over the 3 months;
Complete an end of quarter survey and provide consent to using your story and photographs to inspire other patients; and
Submit your refund request via the Get a Refund screen within 7 days of your first quarterly subscription period's end.

The eligibility criteria is strictly adhered to – unfortunately, we cannot make exceptions if you have not been able to meet all the criteria listed above.

Additional Refund Details

Refund amount

For all eligible members, the maximum refunded amount is $45 and not more than 100% of the invoiced amount.
The refund can be exchanged for a second quarterly subscription instead of a cash refund.

Exceptions

Please note the cash refund is not available to:

Members that have previously completed their first 3 months on the app
Members that have previously received a Refund
Members that have frozen their program
Yearly subscribers or users on the platform who are not subscribed
Members that have purchased via the Apple App Store or Google Play Store (Android)
Members that have signed up during special offer periods
Members that have purchased discounted, promotional, bundle offers unless stated on the registration page
Members that have requested a rebate from their insurance company

Refund request process

Follow this process to claim your refund:

Visit the Earn a Refund page to see if you have met all of the criteria to receive a refund.
If you have met the criteria, you can complete the end-of-program survey and consent to sharing your story via the Earn a Refund page.
Then submit your refund request within 7 days of program completion via the Earn a Refund page.
We will offer you an option to receive a cash refund or choose a quarterly subscription for free.
Eligible refunds will be issued to your original payment method (e.g. the credit card you used to register, or Paypal) up to 21 business days following the receipt of your refund request. We cannot issue a refund to a different credit card. If a refund cannot be issued, access to RENDiet to the value of the refund will be provided.
